SAP Status Bar

The SAP Status Bar comprises three separate components which provide you with information about stage of processing Weavecentrix Desktop is performing. These components are as follows:

Message Bar – The message bar provides you with information about the operation related to the SAP side that Weavecentrix Desktop is performing at any given time. In some cases, it will also give you some information about the progress of that information. When no operation is being performed, the message bar will be blank.

Progress Bar – When a lengthy operation is being performed on the SAP side by Weavecentrix Desktop, the progress bar will be shown. Usually, the progress bar will show a visual indication of the progress together with the percentage complete. In some cases, the duration of an operation is not known and the progress bar is shown as busy. This happens when Weavecentrix Desktop queries SAP for work orders and before SAP reports how many work orders there are.

Status Light – The status light indicates the state of the connection to SAP. When the status light is greyed out, there is no active connection to SAP. When it is green, there is an active connection to SAP. When the status light is red, there has been a fault with the SAP connection – usually a network problem. When the status light is shown as yellow, then the connection is busy.
