Before you can transfer work orders from SAP to a Primavera P3 project, you need to be logged in to both SAP and P3, you must have downloaded some work orders and you must have a P3 project open. This section walks you through the steps you need to take before you can transfer work orders and points you in the direction of more detailed help for each step in case you need it.
2. Open your Primavera P3 project
3. Login to SAP
4. Use your SAP Filter to extract the work orders you want out of SAP
5. Select the work orders that you want to transfer to your P3 project
6. Click on the Transfer button on the SAP toolbar. You can also use the Transfer menu option on the Orders menu.
7. Monitor the progress of your transfer on the status bar. As each stage of the transfer takes place, a message is displayed on the status bar and the progress bar shows you how that stage is going. The status light indicates that Weavecentrix Desktop is busy with the transfer. Once the transfer is complete, the status bar will not show a message, the progress bar will not be visible and the status light will be green.
