Work orders which are selected for transfer are indicated by a check in the checkbox which is on the work order line for the work order.

Selecting a Single Work Order

To select a single work order for transfer, click in the checkbox on the work order header line. The checkbox will display a tick in it. Click on the checkbox again to deselect the work order for transfer.

Selecting all Work Orders

You can select all of the work orders at once by clicking on the Select All toolbar button. You can clear all of the work orders by clicking on the Deselect All toolbar button. You can also use the Orders menu to select and deselect work orders for transfer. The Select All command has a shortcut key <Ctrl>+A. The Select All command has a shortcut key <Ctrl>+N.

Selecting a Range of Work Orders

You can select a contiguous range of work orders. At the start of the range, click anywhere on the work order header line. Go to the last work order in your range and, whilst holding down the <Shift> key, click anywhere on the work order header line for that work order. This selects the contiguous range of work orders. Now click on the <Space> bar to select the contiguous range of work orders for transfer. If you click on the <Space> bar again, it will toggle the checkboxes for the selected work orders.

Selecting Individual Work Orders

You can also select a range of non-contiguous work orders by using the <Ctrl> key.

To select a non-contiguous range of individual work orders, hold down the <Ctrl> key and then click on the work orders you want to transfer. Note that these work orders do not need to be next to each other. Now, click on the <Space> bar to toggle the checkboxes on these work orders.

Selecting Multiple Blocks of Work Orders

To select blocks of non-contiguous ranges of work orders, hold down the <Ctrl> key and then click on the first work order in the block you want to transfer. Go to the last work order in the block and click on it whilst holding down the <Shift>+<Ctrl> keys. This selects the block. To select another block as well, repeat the process. This will select two non-contiguous blocks of work orders. Repeat this for as many blocks of work orders as you need. Finally, click on the <Space> bar to toggle the checkbox for selecting the work orders for transfer.
