SAP Filter Template Tabs

In this section:

·      Adding and Removing Tabs – add and remove the tabs on your filter.

·      Reordering your Tabs – change the order that the tabs appear on your filter.

The use of tabs in your SAP filter when getting work orders from SAP means that you can organise the work order fields into groupings that are logical to the way that you run maintenance. You can also reduce the complexity of your selection screen by arranging your fields across multiple tabs.

images\information.gif A typical way of organising the SAP work order selection fields is to put the most frequently used fields into the first tab. Fields which you refer to occasionally are put into a second tab. The example shown here shows this layout.

Adding and Removing Tabs

To add a new tab, click on the Add Tab button. This will add a new tab at the end of the list with a default name. To edit the name of your tab, double-click on the tab name. Type in a new tab name and then hit the <Enter> key.

To remove a tab, select a tab from the list and then click on the Remove Tab button.

Reordering your Tabs

You can change the order of a tab by first selecting the tab and then clicking on either the Move Up button or the Move Down button. This moves the tab up or down the list, changing the order number.
