Creating Resources from SAP Reservations

With this setting turned on, Weavecentrix Desktop will create resources in Primavera P3 which will represent the reservations in your SAP work orders. These can be for materials or services.

This setting is turned on by default.

Making SAP Reservations Driving Resources

Turning on this setting will make driving resources in your Primavera P3 project for SAP reservations from your work orders.

It would be rare that you would wish to turn on this setting. Most components in SAP work orders are materials which are driven by warehouse availability. This setting is intended for applications where the predominant reservations are for services.

This setting is turned off by default.

Using the SAP Reservation Price to set the Resource Price

When you plan a work order in SAP and you have used materials, the planned price of the materials is usually available unless they are special non-stock items. When the price is available in SAP, turning on this setting means that Weavecentrix Desktop will check for a price and then, if it is available, use it to set the resource price in Primavera P3.

This setting is turned on by default.

Creating Resources from PRTs

With this setting turned on, Weavecentrix Desktop will create resources in Primavera P3 which will represent the PRTs in your SAP work orders.

This setting is turned on by default.

Making PRTs Driving Resources

Turning on this setting will make driving resources in your Primavera P3 project for SAP PRTs from your work orders.

In a situation where a PRT is critical to a block of work, you should consider turning on this setting. You should note, however, that the PRT’s availability may not be accurately reflected unless all the work orders which use that PRT are brought into your Primavera P3 project.
