To log in to SAP, either click on the Login to SAP button on the SAP toolbar or use the Orders option on the menu and select Login to SAP. The SAP Login dialog box will be displayed as shown below.
When you first log in to SAP, you will have to enter the SAP client, your SAP username and your password. The language defaults to English. Weavecentrix Desktop will remember these settings between sessions but you will have to re enter your password each time. This is a security measure.
You must have filled in the settings for your SAP connection before you can log in to SAP. Click on the Settings… button to edit the connection settings. See the section Setting up your SAP Connection for an explanation of how you do this.
Click on the Login button. The dialog box will disappear and you will see the progress of your connection on the status line of the SAP window. During this time, the status light will show yellow. When you have fully logged in to SAP, the status light will show green. Any problems during logging in will be reported via a popup message box and the status light will show red.

Once you have logged into SAP, the toolbar button and the menu option change to Logout of SAP. Clicking on the toolbar button or selecting the menu option will now log you out of SAP.
