When you start the Windows Installer either from the CD or a web download, you will see the installation package loading as shown below:

Once it has loaded completely, the Windows Installer will start.
The Windows Installer has a wizard interface which takes you through the steps necessary to load Weavecentrix Desktop on your system. These steps are as follows:
· Choosing the Java Virtual Machine
· Installation of Weavecentrix Desktop
The Introduction panel tells you how to use the wizard interface of the Windows Installer. It also advises you not to run other programmes whilst the installation is underway so that they do not interfere with the installation of Weavecentrix Desktop.
The License Agreement panel displays the Weavecentrix Desktop License Agreement. You must accept this licence agreement before you can proceed any further with the installation of Weavecentrix Desktop. If you decide not to accept the License Agreement, you cannot install Weavecentrix Desktop.
The Installation Folder panel gives you the opportunity to install Weavecentrix Desktop in a folder other than its normal installation folder. Usually, people will accept the default installation folder.
Weavecentrix Desktop requires a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) to run. There is a JVM included in the standard installation package. This JVM is selected in this wizard panel by default. It is the usual practice to use this JVM with Weavecentrix Desktop.
This panel gives you the opportunity select another JVM but you should contact Weavecentrix Technical Support before doing so as that particular version of the JVM may not be supported by Weavecentrix Desktop.
If you are in any doubt, select the JVM that comes with Weavecentrix Desktop.
At this stage, the installation is about to begin. This panel gives you the opportunity to check your settings before the installation begins. Click on the Install button to begin the installation.
Once you have clicked on the Install button, the installation will begin. You will see a status bar as the installation progresses, showing messages about the components being installed.
Once the installation is complete, you will see the confirmation panel shown above.
